Wildberries says raises GMV 89% to 538.9 bln rbl in Jan–Sep
MOSCOW, Oct 15 (PRIME) -- Russian online retailer Wildberries increased its gross merchandise value (GMV) 89% to 538.9 billion rubles in January–September, the company said in a statement on Friday.
GMV rose 101% on the year to 214.6 billion rubles in July–September.
The company showed the highest growth rate in September, with GMV growing 127% in annual terms. The number of orders placed on the site more than doubled to 485.8 million units in January–September.
More than 260,000 entrepreneurs started their work on the platform in January–September, which is more than in the entire 17 years of the company’s operation. The total number of Wildberries’ partners amounted to 340,000 as of October 1.
The number of clients rose to 92 million people in the period from 80 million people in 2020. The daily audience increased to 14 million people from 11.5 million people.
